I had been looking for several weeks with my 19 yr old son for a used four wheel drive vehicle.
My son had been out in Colorado for about a year working and planned to possibly return there and a all wheel drive vehicle was necessary.
We stopped to see the used car inventory at Voss and was approached by Martin Shaver.
Martin showed a genuine interest in my son and asked questions about his likes and dislikes in vehicles. Martin was eager but not pushy to arrange for my son to sit in several pick up trucks to determine fit due to his 6'4" height.
After several inspections my son noticed a Toyota FJ 2007 with approximately 50,000 miles.
The FJ was a standard shift and my son was not experienced in shifting. However, I test drove the FJ with him and he became interested even more, expressing to me that he could learn to drive it. I had no doubt that that was true.
A couple of days had passed and Martin followed up with us to offer any addtional information or answer any questions about the vehicle.
We decided to look at the FJ a second time and made the decision the following day to purchase the vehicle due to pricing and the confidence we had in Mr. Shaver and his professional attitude. We will look to Voss Chevy next time we have the need and hopefully Martin will be there.
