Took my brand new 2025 car in this morning for its first service after purchasing this car at Voss in September. I pulled my car into the service department and left it for an oil change. When I came back, it had been parked in the front parking lot. It had been scratched by a bicycle that had fallen over. I reported it to the service manager, they asked to look it over and document it and stated they’d call me later. Several hours later, they texted to let me know they found out whose bike it was and gave me the contact info to discuss with them. I sat down with the service manager to ask what the solution was since it was damaged when they had parked it and moved it and I was not there or had any say in it. He informed me they had zero responsibility for it no matter the severity or who was driving or parked there. They told me who hit it and told me to call that individual for their insurance information. Very good to know that they don’t take care of your vehicles when servicing them even for something as small as an oil change and that no matter what, the damage is the owners responsibility. I asked to see the policy regarding understanding it was not their responsibility and he could not provide one.
we highly recommend Kevin Peavy at Voss Chevy! We hated the thought of a new car purchase at the moment so we decided on a used car. During our search we came across a car of interest at Voss. Kevin was our salesman and we cannot be happier with our entire experience. The typical "used car salesman" stereotype goes completely out the window with Kevin. He is incredibly up front, personable and professional. He turned everything into a friendship experience instead of just a purchase. We decided against the original car and ended up purchasing a larger vehicle....NO pressure from Kevin at all. He is a very "this is going to be your purchase, going to be your car, YOU have to be happy with what you buy" type of salesman. Voss has a great staff member - not just a salesman - in Kevin!
Absolutely terrible!!! What a waste of time! I went to this place 10 days ago to get an estimate for insurance as I had right front tire, wheel & hub damage as diagnosed by a mechanic elsewhere. I first went to service to tell them what I needed and as soon as he heard the word "accident" he dismissed me. Told me he couldn't help me and told me to go next door to collision. He seemed to care less about me as a customer and certainly did not listen to what I said. I went to collision and scheduled an appointment for today. I was very clear as to what I needed on the estimate for insurance and Buffy was very helpful. However, VOSS totally wasted my time...over 2 hours in all. The estimate did not include the most expensive damaged component or labor for the work. When I asked why this Guy named Gurney replied with an attitude, we don't do that. What? you don't take a tire off to look at the hub. No, we don't! he says...then he says I would need to go to collision for that. What the xxxx? that is where I started in the first place and was quickly dismissed. Then today, this Gurney dude treats me like xxxx and doesn't even offer to help in any way. It was obvious that 5:00 PM had just passed and he wanted nothing to do with helping me. What a joke this place is!!!!!! This was my first experience ever with them and they suck! Never go to VOSS is you can help it! I'm sure they will say it was all miscommunication and we are sorry....no frickin way! They didn't give a xxxx about me and all the time they wasted as I now have to go elsewhere to get a quote for insurance. Buffy was nice & polite and the only thing positive about VOSS. I have a Takata air bag recall replacement that needs to be done and they were to do the work. NOT! Can anyone suggest a Chevy dealership that cares about their customers because this place doesn't. Especially Gurney Hale. Avoid this place at all cost! This is also the first time I have ever reviewed anything online, and that says a lot!
We have multiple visits to fix three re-occuring problems with the door check, windshield fluid reservoir and the rear hatchback.
I originally went to performance jeepland and the were awful!!! I came to Voss Chevrolet and they got the deal done. They worked with me on trade in and price/payments. Kevin(salesman) was wonderful to work with.
BEWARE: The service department’s only goal is to make as much money as they can from their customers. I had a malfunctioning seatbelt on the rear drivers side where my child sits causing a safety issue. I called to make an appointment stressing I needed it fixed the day of service because I was going on a long road tip that weekend. After examining the seatbelt issue they told me it would be 5 days to get the new part. I didn’t have 5 days, so I told them I would need to take it somewhere else because it has to fixed ASAP. They then handed me a bill for $168.35 to tell me my seat belt is broken!!! I then asked to speak with the service manager about the charge because they gave me the impression it could be fixed that day. The service manager was unapologetic and told me since I didn’t get my vehicle regularly serviced through them he wouldn’t waive the charge. He then proceeded to tell me good luck finding anyone else that has that part. Wow… I was blown away by his lack of sympathy for the safety of my family. I purchased this vehicle from VOSS and they clearly do not value their customers after purchase. I will not be buying another vehicle from them again. It’s really sad that a company rather make a $168 than keep a returning customer for years to come.
Voss Chevrolet, Senior Saleman, Dan Wilbur provided great assistance with our 2022 Chevrolet Z71 Tahoe purchase. Through the entire ordering process, providing consistent updates from GM production, train travel updates and dealer arrival. Dan had also ordered the requested GM accessories ahead of schedule in order to finalize on-time delivery. Dan's communication and customer service skills developed and built a good relationship throughout ordering and delivery. Thank you Dan Wilbur.
I have never been so unsatisfied with a company. I took my Chrysler town and country in for a check engine light and a transmission leak. They said it would cost $150 to run the diagnostics for the cylinder 1 misfire that was causing the check engine light. I agreed and then was told it would be almost $1200 to fix the leak and the fuel injector. So I also agreed to that. After a few days I got a call saying it was ready and that it is still idling rough but it’s not showing a misfire on the scanner. Check engine light came back on when I drove it home so I brought it back to Voss. After further diagnosis it needs the cylinder head replaced. So after all this they are refunding me only the cost of the fuel injector which is $118. I paid $464 labor for the injector which didn’t fix the problem, and I wouldn’t have had the leak fixed if I knew it was the valve and not the injector. That’s another $520. My last 2 vehicles I bought were from here and I will never buy or bring another car to be serviced here again. Long story short I went 2 weeks without the van and spent over $1000 and am very unhappy with my experience.
Bought a jeep latitude from them online. It was missing the drivers floor mat ($100 set) and the "alloy" rims was actually just some fancy hubcap THAT RATTLES when we drive it. Wouldn't come down on the $20,000 pricetag,Very shady, wouldn't even let us see it till the paperwork was signed saying things like "oh they're gassing it up" "they're detailing it" but they only washed it.
Unfortunately Voss Chevrolet has lost a family of Customers due to their lack of “Customer Service” within their Service Department…Hope that “we have no loaner vehicles” for something Under Warranty sits well considering its significantly a minor cost to the Dealership vs losing Customers who purchase New Vehicles every two years… Lack of Great Customer Service will get you no where, especially in the Automotive Industry except with “another” Negative Review on Dealer Rater, Edmunds etc
Unprofessional dropped my car off for services and never got an update on a job that was suppose to take 2.5 hrs. Car end up there for days waiting on a part and no one informed me that the part haven't came I had to call them checking on my car. It was their mistake reason my car was there, so you think they reach out to me, I had to keep calling leaving VM and talk to supervisor. Just to get a return call to say part not in yet. Unprofessional
Sadly, I will never suggest Voss chevy used cars. Our salesman, Martin, was a pleasure. Very nice and knowledgeable. I went in to look at a Wrangler, and as soon as I drove it I knew I would be leaving with it. I was told an employee (no name, she is in charge of advertising I was told) had driven it home a few days prior to see if she liked it. "Well it's still here so it hasn't sold." I said ok, I need to go pickup my daughter and I will be back. They got the VIN on my trade in to get the process rolling so it would be smooth when I got back. I even signed a paper stating they had permission to drive my current vehicle to better understand the trade in value. So my husband and I left fully expecting to be coming RIGHT back to sign papers. We were gone no more than an hr..as soon as I pulled into the parking lot I got a voice-mail. "Sorry we tried to catch you before you came back, but the employee decided to buy it." I have never dealt with this. I understand that anyone could have come off the street and bought it, however, I feel that if it was not the employee they would have told the customer sorry we have someone coming back for it. The fact that it was an employee who bought it right out from under me, feels extremely dirty and totally off putting. I will not return to voss, as they clearly have shady practices. I would rather give my business to someone else. "Built on trust. Driven by integrity" I think not.
I have a problem with my truck seat service said it was under warranty they would contact me when parts were in. several weeks went by no word from service. after I made a few calls. they called me back to say it is not under warranty and that my info must have got mixed up with someone else that needed service. on two other service trips my oil filters were left not tight enough and made a big mess on car and driveway. only good I can say is my sales person is very good at what he does and very helpful. I sent an email to the owner of the dealership no answer back at this point
Zero integrity. Typical used car sales. I had been communicating with Sales Consultant, Travis Schaefer, for several weeks about purchasing a CPO car from Voss. We traded dozens of emails about the car, approved financing terms, and he volunteered to hold the car until I could come see it, as I was purchasing from out of state. I informed Voss I would not be able to make the trip until over the upcoming weekend and was asked what day I would arrive, so they could pull the car out of the showroom so I could drive it. That was on a Thursday. I was scheduled to arrive the following Monday, four days later. So, on Thursday, they are supposed to be holding the car and pulling it out of the showroom for me on Monday, meanwhile ‘keeping me posted’ on any developments. I rented a car to make the 7 hour drive, booked a hotel room in the area, secured insurance for the new car (which they told me I needed… yeah, we were that far along) and SOLD my previous vehicle. Saturday afternoon, I receive a one-sentence email telling me the car has been sold. No other warning. I responded - nothing. I call immediately - no response. I reached out to Sales Managers, Brandon Horn and Greg Hill, Monday morning. I was told that they “didn’t see a commitment to buy.” When I showed the very specific email correspondence, I was told it was a “miscommunication” and that “it could have been worded differently, and will be in the future.” Which part? The part where they approved the financing? Agreed to let me drive 7 hours, rent a car, book a hotel and purchase insurance? The part where they volunteered to hold the car and knew when I would arrive so they could have the car ready? That’s a lot of miscommunication. Or did they just sell the car out from under me? That seems like a more logical explanation. When confronted (and frustrated) with these facts, they just stopped responding altogether; as mature business people do. Honestly, probably for the best as these are not the kinds of people I would want to give my business or my money to, and you shouldn’t either. Trust and integrity are hallmarks of business relationships, especially when purchasing a vehicle, and Voss clearly has neither. Stay away and take your business, and your trust, elsewhere.
